2.Generally people always think that sport management just like a coach to manage how to do sports and I thought it was that before I read something.
3.After 1991,I know there are two famous guys called Micheal Jordan and David Stern. The first one was famous player and the last one is the CEO of NBA, and now both of the are good sport manager, and I will explain the reason as the following statement.
4.Sport management is not only like the coach to manage the team but also a successful business man. Therefore this course will tell people how to make profits by using everything that have relationship with sports.
5.When finished the study of this course, people can become a marketing manager, a coach, an agent of famous player and so on.
6.There are some examples of sport manager, firstly David Stern is a good example because he knew how to entire a huge market by using basketball and as the follower of him, lots of basketball player use there own logo's products entire Chinese market.
7.For example, Micheal Jordan has his own logo of sports sneakers and lots of Chinese boys love it. And also MJ buy some stock of Charlotte Bobcats.
8.Such a successful sport manager will use many kinds of sport to make their products such as NIKE to produce different shoes to make profit.
9.An other type of sport manager is like coach or teachers, because the course also have to tell student how to do sports well without harm.

ReplyDeleteOne American basketball player makes own logo of sport sneakers, and boys of all over the world want those sneakers. From this fact, I felt that sport market is very huge, and there are many chances to make a big profit in sport management.
I have heard about sport management of one soccer team in Japan. That team was strong at first time. However, the team grade was going down year by year. Then, the team could not get enough money to manage it from sponsor companies. However, the new CEO of the team devised a management strategy, and he succeeded to get money from team supporters, some companies and local government. I think he is one of the successful sport manager in Japan.
What about in China? Are there any famous sport manager in your country?
Actually, I've never heard it before I read your article, though I think I'm not a genius about that because of my poor ability of management, I still have some interest in it. Personally I Think that the management of sport is like a cycle of how the whole machine works. The money you earn from your extra production can give help to your sport's team. And it circled again. right~?

In my opinion, the NBA looks like a show, the players like actors and David Stern like a director of this show.He have to do lots of work that make advertisement and nbadraft something like that which let people like this show.

This is my first time to realize about sport management,but I heard this before.This is very infrequent in the USA.At least,i dont have any friend who is studying in this course.Just like you said,this course is focus on how to make profits and telling people how to sport without harm.About make profits,there are so many ways to make profits.But you should have a distinctive way that can help you make profits quickly and efficiently.Good luck~!Peter~!

I would like to take about Libya we do not have this kind of sport management, because in libya we believe that sport for every one and we do not believe that some one is realy super stare in the sport, bout gays still like some International sport management as Maradona, Zidan, bilay. ReplyDeleteHumm..this is interesting. Sports managment is seems like a kind of maketing business. It likes business marketer, but the product they sell is sport or a player. Be a sports managment has to learn how to play or training a kind of sports first. Then he or she can konw how to set his business up. Becuase marketers have to know what their custmors need. I would like to know a sports managment in the future, then i can buy those crazy sorts equipment in a lower price haha. But Peter, being a soprts managment has to be strong and healthy. ReplyDeleteI don't know about sports,especially NBA, but from your essay, I find that a manager of a team is like an organizer connecting sports with market. Their importance is not less than a coach. Sometimes people need them to know about a team and to be more closer to the team. They may love this team more and more from buying products. Marketing do determine people's favourite.
