- Nowadays more and more student from all over the world decides to study abroad. Why they would like to study abroad, far away from their parents, far away from their close friends, far away from all their familiar things, but not just stay at their home country study in a familiar college?
- This is a question which our American friends always ask us, also this is always a question come to my mind when I am thinking alone.
- We can have a better quality life if we just study at home country, and stay with our parents. But we choose the way to study far away from family.
- First, I think most of us study abroad for the better future life or a better career when we graduate from university. Most times we can get a better job if we are the people who return to home country after oversea study, or if we can get a job abroad may even better.
- Like many friend of my father, they go abroad for study, they study hard and they got a job in America, they got a much better quality life.
- Secondly, I think many of us study abroad because they don’t like the education system or education style in their home country. They like the American style, the more open, more democratic, more diversity education style, they think the American style education much more helpful for them, they can learn much better in American than in their home country.
- The third of all, a little part of us just want to escape from their past. May be they not feel happy in their home country; they run away just want have a happy life, a better life in future. This is also a kind of reason that why they decide to study aboard.
- There are still many other reasons that make more and more people decide to study far away from their home. Even every student in our class may have many individual reasons to make us made the same choice to study abroad.
- Whatever why you guys made this same decision as me, I think we all made a good decision. We will not regret for this decision.
- Hope we all can have a happy life in our American study period.

ReplyDeleteMany International student came to USA to study,because they can learn "real" English. also they can learn first hand about their cultures.
Second thing is Emotion.
It is very important to international student. Most of student get homesick when they got here. They miss their family,friends.but,after that, Student become independent. also life should be an adventure to them.
Last thing is their FUTURE.
When they graduate colloge, they can get a good job so They will feel that they defeated the hardness and pain which are in themselves.
I always think wherever we study we have to do our best!:-)

ReplyDeleteIn my opinion the USA is the best place where you can learn any Knowledge you want, and the English language is the most commen language in the world. I don't see any disadvantge in this typic because the USA has very good education and stafe. we are here because we are agree that the USA has the best environment to learn and to gaine the knowledge that you need. I agree that we miss our families, but if we work hard and do our best we can get very good education that make our parents proud and help our counties to develop. finally I would say louky who can get education from the USA.
ReplyDeleteI quite agree abt yr ideas and I think that there r a lot of people go abroad for study nowaday. I just wanna share my reasons here. Maybe some of u have the same reasons as mine. First, as u said that american style of studying in someone's mind is much better than others. I have freedom to decide what I learn and I can change my mind whenever I want. They give us more choices which can be really helpful for our lives. We have many chances to change our lives and figure out which is the best for us. Secondly, go abroad to study make us have some different experience which would help us in the future. I could get a better job and have a better life. At last, the final reason is I lost my exam in China and I have no chance to change it. I have to face a life that I don't want it just because of the failture in one exam. In my mind, that is not fair to me because I worked hard and I did a good job in other exam. After that, I feel that I can't pass any exams and I am really really afraid of exams. That't not a good thing because the students' job is having classes and passing the exams. All of these are just my feelings and I hope that everyone here can have a happy life in the U.S

As you said, East Lansing is a pretty good place for studying, not only the high class university, but also the peaceful life in this city. I came from a noisy modern city in China with many lures in daily life, such as playing computer games with best friends, got drunk after the football matches. It's hard to calm down in that city for studying and maybe that is one of the reasons why I'm an impetuous person.

That is a good quenstion!!!I think most people study a broad for their future.American really have better education system and study environment than any other countries.And we can learn more knowledge in American College.And then maybe afer we finish our degree we can get best jobs.

We have to acknowledge that more and more students had chosen US as his target for study.As everyone said, American has the best education system in the world.That's the main reason why we chose US.Besides,we could get many chance to challenge ourself in abroad. Because we come to a complete unfamiliar environment.we have to deal with everything we faced by ourself.That's good for us in the future.

The first reason that students go to the foreign university is to receive high quality education. There are places where people can't receive enough education of their major because of their environment. Its condition is not only in developing contry, but also in developed country. For example, even in Japan, there are places where people can't take enough education of their major. My uviversity in Japan has department of Fementation Sciences. Some students of that deparment who woud like to study about wine go to France becuse they can learn more a lot of things in there than Japan.
ReplyDeleteMany students believe that people who went to foreign university can get good job in the future. However, they cannot get good job by only the fact that they studyed in foreign country. The most important thing is whether they can put their knowledge which they get from foreign uniersity to our job and society, or not. They need to get that skill before they get job.
Actually,I don't know why I came here. Maybe first when I decided to come here was just for curiousness. But now, I began to think why I want to study here.Some of my friends come here without any reason but for following their parents order.Somewhat, I think i belong to this sort. But I also faced this question very conscientious. Obviously, I don't like studying in my home country.I know it very clearly.But for coming to America in future,maybe this is a best choice for me to escape from studying in home country.This is because here has the most famous education system. I though studying here can learn something very advanced.And I probably just for this reason step into the land of America.

ReplyDeleteFor me, I have several reasons to study in USA.
First of all it’s the advanced education system.
I have found lots of interests since I was young, however the teacher don’t encourage them so much and so did my parents, and I found it difficult to finish my task which the teacher and my parents gave to me. The result is now I still have some dream to achieve. Nevertheless, American education system can give more chances for students to find out what they are interested in.
Secondly, which is not important for my study is the advanced singing skill.
Lots of Chinese singers’ music styles were the same. I’m wondering whether they plagiarize from each other. That’s the reason why Mando-pop is becoming less and less attractive. I came to America because I want to learn some different style of music and singing skills from American style. I love blues and jazz.
Yep,this is a good topic that has been talking for a long time between us.Why so many people study abroad??And why they choose America??I think quantities of us have so many different kinds of reason.But we all have the same one that is getting better than before or in the future.Everybody knows the high education in the USA is the best in the world.In addition,the United States is the strongest country in the world.Thus,huge of people come to USA.In my opinion,I think america is a good place for studying.You can obtain updated knowledge and skill during the time you study in the USA;therefore,it is a good choice that study abroad in the USA.

ReplyDeleteMy major is Psychology, and it was orginated in Western.Many books about Psychology taught in China are translated from western works,so it's good for me to study in Amercia to read the books in English accurately.

I also can control my life when I study abroad. I can decide which way I should go without my parents. They can give my advices but no decitions. That makes me feel independent.
The society,nowadays,needs the people not only have literary konwledge.The society has a lot of things that need us to be learned.Not only just from the books but also from the life and the world we live in.What you want then what you should do.That's a very simple principle but people usually can't do .If you strive ,even if you in the paradise you won't feel happiness.

IT IS A GOOD TOPIC TO KICK OFF OUR CLASS BLOG. IT IS REALLY UP TO EACH PERSON WHY SHE/HE COMES OVER TO THE US TO STUDY WHILE PAYING A LOT OF MONEY. ALTHOUGH THIGNS ARE NOT ALWAYS EASY, I HOPE IT IS WORTH CHALLENGING IT.

In my opinion , people who come to a powerful country such as America , england ect want to have better education , so doesn't matter whether country is strong or not , people come to here on the purpose of better education. Because they are able to find satisfied job after get a good degree . hence, It is important to have a education as whole
