1 Have you ever seen football match before? I don’t know how many of you have seen our football match in Spartan Stadium. Did you enjoy it?
2 Actually, the match played on last Saturday was our last match this season. Did you go to stadium to see it? That was the last show of our Spartans. Although we lost the last match in a big gap, 42-14, our Spartans has tried them best.
3 After this match was ended, our final results are 6 win and 6 lost. This is an average result. In last season, our final result(9win and 3lost)is further better than this season. Besides, we got a chance to participate a bowl match which is Capital One Bowl. However, we lost that match.
4 The college football season currently begins Labor Day weekend, one week earlier than the NFL. The regular season continues through early December with the season's penultimate weekend holding several conference championship games and rivalry games. Starting in the 2009 season, the regular season finale, the Army–Navy Game, is one week later.
5 After season match, it also has postseason. The postseason consists of a series of bowl games that showcase the top 64 college teams. Bowl games generally match two teams of similar standing from different conferences.
6 The sponsor of bowl game needs to collect many data of match, and they have to do a lot of calculation. At the end, they decide who are going to take the bowl game. Of course, the team who wins the final champion, they will get plentiful award money.
7 Due to the Bowl games includes too many game, I cannot list all of them. I just list some important bowl games, such as Fiesta Bowl, Orange Bowl, Rose Bowl, Sugar Bowl, and BCS National Championship Game.
8 The football match are very popular in America. Almost every American sees this match. It is full of energy, passion, and power. It is an exciting match that perfectly combines speed and power.
9 In fact, before I came to America, I have no any idea about football match. I do not even know what rule it is. Since I’ve been to this university, I deeply attracted by this match. Especially, that awesome touchdown makes you crazy.

what a pity, we lost the game. I know you are very sad about that. what i want to say is that let bygones be bygones. I know they will rally up and do better next semester. Let us wish that.
ReplyDeleteI am same as you, I did not knew anything about America football before I came to US. However, most of naitive American are fascinated with this sport and talk to it all the time. So I watch it as well, finding that the Game is full of interests. I believe that I am more likely to learn this Game in the future.

ReplyDeleteI have not seen even one game. That was pity things. I know last week was the last game in this semester and I tried to get one ticket. You can see that: failed. I think I will cetainlly enjoy the game, if I can get one ticket next semester. We lost, kind of really shamed from that game. Glad you got the ticket and enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteI went to the first match of this season. I did not know the rule, but I enjoyed it. It was awesome. I felt that students and people who are concerned with MSU like their university very much. Our final results are 6 win and 6 lost. It is not good, but they will improve in next year.
ReplyDeleteI know little about American football. I play soccer in stead. I played football with Steven and my roommate outside our dormitary. We are so weak that we were looked down upon by a professional player who is an black guy. He was awesome. Hope that I can play better.

Look, Im a socer player. I really want to learn how to play football when I was in the China. After I came here, I had given up. Cause I look like a child in the American. They are very strong and tall as some wild beasts.

ReplyDeleteI am so glad that we won the games with UM and Purdue. I can feel the cheerful feeling of people after we won the games. They ofter shouted "go green, go white" on the street.
If I have chance, I want to go to the stadium to see the game, it will be exciting, I think.
I am sorry to heard that we lost.Although I do not know how to play football, i think it's too complex.However i love every players show their passion on game no matter win or loss.

Football is absolutely amazing not only for the players in the court but also the crazy and enthusiastic audience. I have ever been in such that surroundings, that was unbelieveable and I really enjoy that a lot. Im usually watching football games by TV with my roommate and I love this~!

I really wanted to go see MSU football game this year, but I couldn't because I have to go to volunteer work every homegames. However, I can hear what is going on up there. It's also fun, too! Next year, if I have chance, I really want to go watch a game!:-)

ReplyDeleteI was always think about to see one of the match. But you told me that was the last one of this season. Well, I feel little bit sat cuz i did not get any of them. However, becase i live in ceader village, the most crazy and noisy apartment in msu, the idea of football game become different. It always came with drunk student, broken bottle, loud music. I think that is why i do not intereted in foodball anymore. I know even i say that, but if one day i have the chance to enter one match, i guess my opinion will totally changed. Becase only when one get in the real place, he or she can feel the great of a football match.

ALTHOUGH I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO THE GAME, I ONCE WALKED ON CAMPUS ON THE DAY OF A GAME. PEOPLE WERE TAILGATING, AND SURPRISINGLY, DRINKING IN PUBLIC, WHICH IS NOT ALLOWED. EVEN MORE SURPRISINGLY, POLICE OFFICERS WERE ALL AROUND, BUT THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO CONNIVE AT DRINKING. OTHERWISE, THEY COULD HAVE BEEN ARRESTED. I GUESS I WILL GO TO JUST ONE GAME BEFORE I LEAVE MSU WITH MY WIFE AND SON.
