Leehom Wang




  1. His name is leehom wang, he was born on May 17, 1976 in Rochester,New York.
  2. He is an American singer-songwriter, record producer, and actor of Chinese ancestry,he is a bel-esprit at music,he could play Violin, piano, drums, guitar, bass,electric guitar, erhu, vibraphone, harmonica, chinese flutes, etc.
  3. Childhood and early beginnings: Wang began to develop a curious interest towards the violin and its musical counterparts when he was three. His mother enrolled him into violin classes when he was 6. As he became a teenager, Wang began taking piano lessons, also self-teaching himself the guitar. Wang also worked several jobs to earn money to buy a drum kit.
  4. He attended Jefferson Road Elementary School, Pittsford Middle School, and Pittsford Sutherland High School in Pittsford, New York.
  5. He attended Williams college double majoring in music and Asian studies.He is powerful singer and quality idol in Taiwan.
  6. In the summer of 1995, while Wang was visiting his grandparents in Taiwan, he was offered a professional recording contract by Bertelsmann Music Group (BMG) after he participated in a talent competition hosted by the label.
  7. He Rised to prominence from 1998 to 2000, got international success from 2001 to 2003, established his own music style—Chinked-out from 2004-2006, and he got professional breakthrough from 2007 to present time.

    I did not know him.
    I was surprised at that he can play a lot of instruments, and he had studied music and Asian studies in college. He has great talents.
    I have not listened to Chinese music so much, but I want to listen to his songs.

    I did not know him also, but I really interested this essay!
    Leehom looks like one of Korean actor, so when I saw this post, I thought he is that guy.
    However, I think he has talents for instruments. he looks HOT,too!>_<
    I sway by sentiment someone who can sing very well! I want to listen to his songs!!

    Yes,I agree with you.
    I like him very much. I think he is a perfect man. A singer who is in good shape with talence in music, having a gorgeous face, prossessing enthusiasm in cherity. What's more, he is really smart. I heard that he has been adimtted by Cornell University and other famous universities, but he refused and went to chase his music dream.
    I admire him.

    A lot of friends of mine very like him,especilly girls.They said that leehom wang is a perfect person. He not only has outstanding appearance and tall physical body, but also he has talant in music. He can sing song well and write song. What's more, he graduated from the most famous music colloge-Williams college. He gets what every man want to get.

    leehom used to be my favourite singer. he is a genius because he can play lots of instruments.i admire that ability.however i tried to put my mind on david tao, instead of chasing leehom because DT is more concentrative on his music and his voice is which i prefered.

    Leehom Wang is famous singer in china. As many youngster like to hear his song , I was interested in his song as well. I think that he has talent in the field of music indeed. but ,most importantly , he also is a idol who attract attention from teenager by his handsome face. so, he is a successful singer in china, In my point of view.

    I like leehom best in all of the male singers in China. He is so talented in music. Every song was created by himself.No matter the song lyric or the melody.I like the ONLY ONE best.

    I think we should post information more internationaly. Which means easier to let others understand whereever they come from. We should not post everthing that always only famiely to chinese. But still, thanks for the information. I am also suprised that he can play that much music equimpment. succesful people always did hard work before they get achievment.

    I totally Agree with Steven above, we may post more international information here in order to explain this famous Chinese singer. I am surprised too when I had realized that he can play so many instruments. I was used to listen to his music after class, when I was in high school. Anyway, I like this guy.

    i love his songs too. he is really a handsome boy. Many of my friends are super fun of him. they put his songs in their Mp3. whenever they have time, they will listen his song to kill time.as you know, his voice is very special, and Not everyone can have that voice.

    I MUST ADMIT THAT I DID NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT HIM. IT SOUNDS LIKE HE IS A GOOD SINGER AS WELL AS A MUSIC PLAYER AND A COMPOSER. I WISH I COULD PLAY JUST ONE OF THE INSTRUMENTS HE PLAYS, BUT I CAN'T. WELL, EVERYONE HAS A DIFFERENT STRENGTH. I GUESS I WAS NOT BORN TO BE A MUSICIAN.
